Teens Interested In
Animal Protection

Humane Teen is the name of the new website designed expressly for teens interested in animal protection (www.humaneteen.org). The site was established recently by the youth education division of The Humane Society of the United States.

Teens who log onto the site will find true stories of young activists and teen clubs making a difference for animals and the environment. The site reviews the latest noteworthy books and Web sites on animal issues and provides information on products and programs of interest to animal environmental activists, from summer camps to current campaigns to informative videos and booklets.

Interactive features provide a forum for teens to express their opinions about animal protection issues and publish original poetry on animal topics. Online surveys let teens respond to questions and see how other teens feel about animal-protection issues.
