I have a one year old Westie. My 6 month old Toy Poodle suffers from cronic Bronchitis, and is in constant treatment for it. We bathe him bi-weekly, and are very careful in blow drying him thoroughly. We also do not let him outside do to his condition. He will get well, and a week or two later he is ill again.

I would like to ask how to pluck my Scottish Terrier's hair on the top of her coat. The book I purchased does not go into much detail on how to pluck my dog's fur to give her the look I want. I want her coat to be long at the sides and her fur on her back to lay down straight.
Please help !

We have an Australian shepherd that we adopted. He has an extremely sensitive stomach. The vet has examined him and done multiple tests and treatments and has found nothing wrong. Our dog either vomits or had diarrhea from every food we have found so far (and believe me we have tried almost everything). We have always introduced a new food gradually and waited several weeks to see if he improves but to no avail. He seems to do great on lean hamburger and rice (which I cook for him). I am concerned because we are leaving for a week and I would rather not have to continue cooking for him. I will cook for him if I have to but I wonder if you have any other feeding ideas. Kimberley -- Santa Barbara, California
ANSWER: Kimberley should seek a second opinion. Bring all the lab work, X-rays, diet trial information and treatment history to the vet giving the second opinion. I would be happy to look at this challenging case!
